Dear Mr. Robertson,
1. You don't get to decide who governs other countries. Please try to contain your disappointment.
2. Your god doesn't either. Just in case you were thinking of invoking his name.
3. The Red Scare is over. We're afeared of terrorism now, not comunism. Read your damn memos.
4. I'm pretty sure that advocating murder is a great big leaping sin. Also, the chance of Venezuala exporting comunism to the US is comical. Because baby, in the game of Superpower, size DOES matter.
Go take your meds, dear. You give God a bad name when you run on so.

"The Red Scare is over"
My favorite part of all of this is that he said this:
'Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson suggested on-air that American operatives assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to stop his country from becoming 'a launching pad for communist infiltration and Muslim extremism.'"
Communist infiltration and Muslim extremism. You can just see the hamster spinning inside his head, "Ooh, what's this Chavez guy up to? Bad things. Hmm. What 'bad things.' Oh, yeah, Communism, and Muslim extremism! Basically the same thing! I bet he's for the gays, too. All those bad people run together."
HAHAHAHAHAHA I just saw the actual video on the news. Yeah, he's hilarious.
In other news, why do I always leave the second "m" out of communism? I even do it in Russian (ok, it' more understandable there, since double consonants are rare and usually occur in imported words... like communism...).
Personally I'd love to see the US government support his extradition to Venezuela; however it might do the international community and American Reality a favor if we have as much trouble finding Pat as the Pakistanni's have of finding Bin Ladan.
What a blow, the general malaise and callous selfishness that has swept over much of the world coming back and biting us (and the rest of the lathargic international community) in the ass. How appropriate.
